I, Patty Blackwood, the undersigned Village Clerk in and for the Village of Altamont, having received the Tax Roll & Warrant for the collection of taxes for 2017, will attend the Village Office, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY from June 1, 2017 until July 03, 2017 Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 12 noon and from 1:00 pm to 4 pm. During the month of June taxes are payable without penalty. A penalty of 5% (percent) will be added on all taxes remaining unpaid after July 3, 2017 and an additional 1% (percent) will be added on the first of each month thereafter. If Village taxes are not paid by November 3, 2017 the taxes will be returned to the County of Albany for Collection.
