GUILDERLAND — Arthur “Arty” Waugh, a longtime Guilderland art teacher and legendary coach, died at St. Peter’s Hospital on Monday, March 7, 2022.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, June 12, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Orchard Creek Golf Club Pavilion at 6700 Dunnsville Road in Altamont.

A service of remembrance will take place from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Friends are invited to attend.

    “She was a kid at heart,” said her daughter, Sandra Willsey. “She just loved doing things with the kids and grandkids.”
