NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Westerlo hereby invites sealed bids for the replacement of the roof on the Richard Rapp Town Hall building, located at 933 County Route 401, Westerlo, NY with replacement to commence as soon as possible.
Bids will be received up to 4 pm on the 13th day of June 2024. Bids received on time will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time at the Richard Rapp Town Hall building, 933 County Route 401, Westerlo, New York. Bids shall be addressed to Karla Weaver, Town Clerk, Town of Westerlo, 933 County Route 401, Westerlo, NY 12193. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes which shall bear, on the face thereof, the name and address of the bidder and the subject of the bid. ORIGINAL AND ONE COPY of each shall be submitted. The Town Board reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any or all bids.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Village of Altamont, New York
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Village Board for the Village of Altamont at the Village Community Room on the 4th day of June 2024, at 7:00 p.m. regarding adopting a proposed local law amending Chapter 124 of the Village Code regulating the control of dogs to require that dogs that are not on private property to be kept on a leash and under the control of their owner or person accompanying the dog. The law provides that the Village Board may also adopt rules and regulations to prohibit or restrict the days or times when dogs may be permitted on Village Property, including specified Village Parks, to ensure the presence of dogs does not conflict or interfere with scheduled or planned programing or permitted activities taking place on the premises. The proposed local law would also prohibit habitual loud howling, barking, crying, or whining that lasts continually for a period of 10 minutes or intermittently for a period of 30 minutes. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing and submit comments for the Village Board’s consideration. Copies of the proposed Local Law are available at the Village Clerk’s Office during normal business hours for the purpose of inspection or procurement by interested persons.
