On Memorial Day, check out the 9 rooms of Berne history

To the Editor:

For the last three weekends, volunteers from the community have been dusting, spiffing, and polishing in the upstairs rooms at the Berne Town Hall where you will find the Berne Museum. This is the museum's 55th year since the grand opening on Nov. 11, 1970.

You are cordially invited to visit and explore the museum this Memorial Day, May 26, from 8 a.m. to noon. Check out the nine rooms of Berne history and try your hand at the Treasure Hunt while you’re here. Then enjoy some light refreshments afterwards.

A special thank-you to Lorelei, Brooke, Bonnie, and Staci, the volunteers who spent multiple hours helping to tidy up the rooms.

Interested in volunteering or becoming a member? Contact Sandra at 518-872-0431. Thank you so much.

See you on the history trail.
