These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Emma Tessarzik of Berne, was named to the dean’s list for winter 2021 term at Elmira College with a grade point average of 3.6 or higher;

— Margaret Maney of Delmar, a bachelor of science degree in marketing graduated from The University of Tampa;

— Jack Diligent of Delmar, majoring in computer science in Hamilton College and a graduate of Bethlehem Central Schools, was a member of the set team for the recent Hamilton College Spring Theatre production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot; and

— Jacob Rychcik of Voorheesville, has earned membership in State University of New York Oneonta's chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society.
