Join us on our latest venture, trodding the boards

Our community theater company was founded back in 1982 and "Li'l Abner" was our very first show!  How many of you remember that?

In the 33 years that have followed, we have presented numerous musicals, full-length dramas and comedies, mysteries, children's theater, talent showcases, and traveling dinner-dessert theater shows. It's been a great ride, and it's not over by a long shot!

This weekend, we will be performing our spring comedy "Over the River and Through the Woods" at the Helderberg Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 17, at 2 p.m.  The story follows a brief time in the life of a young man who has spent every Sunday having dinner with his two sets of Italian grandparents.

When Nick's job promotion is going to result in him having to move from their hometown in New Jersey all the way to Seattle, Washington, the news does not settle well with the two sets of Nans and Gramps, and they come up with a crazy plan that they are certain will make him stay.

Come and join us for an afternoon of laughter and tender moments that only grandparents give us!  For more information, you can call 872-9455 or simply like "Hilltowns Players" on Facebook.  Hope to see you at the show!
