You’re invited to Memorial Day Ceremony

To the Editor:

Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7062 and the Helderberg American Legion Post 977 would like to invite everyone to attend the Altamont Memorial Day Ceremony. It will be held on Sunday, May 21, at 1 p.m. in Orsini Park. Please join us to honor those who fought and died on the behalf of the citizens of the United States.

In addition, the VFW and the American Legion will be honoring the 100th anniversary of World War I.

As in years’ past, an open house will be held at the Boyd Hilton VFW Post 7062 on Mill Street immediately following the ceremony in the park. If you have questions, please call the VFW at (518) 861-8323 or the American Legion at (518) 861-6848. Thank you.
