See old friends and meet new ones at Hilltown Seniors

To the Editor:

I am taking this opportunity to publicly thank the towns of Berne, Knox, and Westerlo for their ongoing financial support of the Hilltown Senior Citizen organization and also to thank Chris Smith, owner of Maple on the Lake, for his recent generous $300 donation.

The organization meets monthly at the Community & Senior Services Center at 1360 Helderberg Trail, Berne, NY 12023.

If you are interested in joining this organization you must be 55 years of age or older. Dues are $5 annually.

Meetings usually include an overview of future community events by President Jane Snyder and Vice President Alyce Gibbs, a description of future trips, a speaker, and lunch.

Our next meeting is Saturday, May 10, at 10:30 a.m. Walter Galicki, membership chairman, is available at the center by 9:30 a.m. to accept your dues and provide further information.

The Hilltown Senior Citizens Organization is an excellent opportunity to see old friends and to meet new ones! We hope you will join us!
