Enjoy a car-free journey

To the Editor:

Pump up those tires and grease those chains! The Ninth Voorheesville Bicycling Day is almost here!

Come join the fun on June 1, from noon to 3 p.m. and enjoy a car-free journey along Grove Street in Voorheesville.

This year’s event includes Annabel’s Pizza, The Lazy Ax mobile ax-throwing, and Ponies 4 Hire pony rides. The Flatt Earth bluegrass band will keep everyone pumping, and Steiner’s Sports will have E-bike demos.

Learn about bicycling safety and how to do the ABC Quick Check before every ride.

For more information about the Voorheesville Bicycling Day, please go to vrcclub.org. In case of rain, the event will be held on June 8th from noon to 3 p.m.
