To the Editor:

On May 15, Berne-Knox-Westerlo residents will once again have the opportunity to vote on who shall represent them on the BKW Board of Education. My vote this year will go to Lillian Sisson-Chrysler.

It has been my privilege to serve the past two-plus years on the board with Lillian. As a graduate of BKW and a lifelong resident of the district, I can easily see the passion she brings to her role as a board member.

I respect the sincerity and integrity she’s displayed throughout her time on the board and I know I can always count on her to speak her mind openly and honestly. I’ve always found Lillian to be open to other people’s viewpoints and willing to look for the common ground when someone’s opinion differs from her own.

I know I can count on Lillian to continue to make decisions that are in the best interest of students, staff, and all community members. Please join me in support of Lillian Sisson-Chrysler for the BKW Board of Education.
