Notice of Completion of the 2025 Tentative Assessment Roll
And Hearing of Complaints.
(Pursuant to Sections 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor for the Town of New Scotland, Albany County, State of New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy has been filed with the Department of Assessment, where it may be seen Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and examined by any person interested therein until the first Tuesday in June.
In addition, the Assessor (or his designee) will be in attendance with the roll on:
May 6, 2025 from 9 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. 
May 8, 2025 from 9A.M. until 4:30 P.M. 
May 10, 2025 from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M. by appointment only
May 13, 2025 from 9A.M. until 4:30 P.M. 
May 15, 2025 from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M. by appointment only
The Board of Assessment Review will meet at 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in the New Scotland Town Hall to hear complaints in relation to assessments of real property.

The Assessment Roll will be available for viewing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours or at www.rensselaerville.com by May 1, 2025.
The Assessor will be available at Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY to discuss any concerns prior to Grievance Day on the following days and times:
Saturday May 10, 2025 9:00 am to Noon – by appointment only
Monday May 12, 2025 9:00 am to Noon
Wednesday May 14, 2025 9:00 am to Noon
Wednesday May 14, 2025 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm – by appointment only
The Board of Assessment Review will meet at Town Hall on May 27, 2025 between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm to review any and all written Applications of Complaints by any person believing to be aggrieved. LEGAL NOTICE
NOTICE OF BOND RESOLUTION 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution, a summary of which is published herewith has been  adopted by the Town Board of the Town of New Scotland, Albany County, New York (the “Town”),  on the 12th day of March, 2025. Such resolution was adopted subject to permissive referendum and  the period of time has elapsed for the submission and filing of a petition for such referendum without  a valid petition having been submitted and filed, and the validity of the obligations authorized by such  resolution may be hereafter contested only if: 
(1) (a) such obligations were authorized for an object or purpose for which the  Town of New Scotland is not authorized to expend money, or 
(b) if the provisions of law which should have been complied with as of the  date of publication of this notice were not substantially complied with, 
and an action, suit or proceeding contesting such validity is commenced within twenty days after  the date of publication of this notice; or 
(2) such obligations were authorized in violation of the provisions of the Constitution  of New York. 
SUMMARY OF RESOLUTION 
The following is a summary of a resolution adopted by the Town Board of the Town of  New Scotland on March 12, 2025. Said resolution authorizes the issuance and sale of a serial bond  or bonds and a bond anticipation note or notes in anticipation of the issuance and sale of said serial  bonds, in an amount not to exceed $455,000. The proceeds from the sale of the obligations  authorized in said resolution shall be used for the specific purpose of financing the acquisition of  one (1) excavator, one (1) dump truck, and related equipment at an estimated maximum cost of  $455,000 and having a period of probable usefulness of fifteen (15) years. A copy of the resolution  summarized herein is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Office of  the Town Clerk located in the Town Hall, Slingerlands, New York.

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Knox, County of Albany, has completed the Assessment Roll for the current year; that a copy thereof will be at the Assessor’s Office, Town Hall, Knox, New York, on May 1, 2025 and on-line at www.knoxny.org where it may be reviewed and examined by any person interested therein until May 28th and that on such day between the hours of 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm said Board of Assessment Review would meet at Town Hall, Knox, New York to hear and examine all complaints in relation to such assessments, on the application of any person believing himself aggrieved thereby. TOWN OF RENSSELAERVILLE
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Rensselaerville is inviting sealed bids for the Asphalt Parking Lot Paving Project at Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked with the bidder name and subject. Faxed or electronically transmitted bids will NOT be accepted. Non-Collusive Bidding Certificates must accompany all bids.
All prices are to be based upon the completion of the Paving Project. Payment for the completed project will be made within thirty (30) days after the project has successfully passed the Town’s inspection.
Specifications and other bid documents are available from the Town Clerk at the above address during normal business hours or via email at .  
All bids are due to the Town Clerk no later than 6:00 pm on May 22, 2025 and will be awarded within a reasonable amount of time thereafter.
Technical questions may be submitted no later than 12:00 p.m. on May 21, 2025 to the Town Highway Superintendent, Jason Rauf, 518-239-4225.
