Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Special Use Permit # 609

Adjourned: Special Use Permit Application # 609:  Application submitted Kim Newell and Eldrid Andres for a Special Use Permit to allow for a parcel they own to be used for “Agricultural uses, less than 7 acres”. The parcel is located within the RH district at 44 New Salem South Road, contains approx. 3.5 acres, and is identified as New Scotland tax parcel # 83.-1-25. This application is a Special Use of Article II, Section 190-15 (D)(14) of the Town of New Scotland Zoning Law and local law #2 of 2016, Section 3e(3).

Hearing will take place on May 7, 2019 at the New Scotland Town Hall beginning at 7:00 P.M.

Adjourned: Site plan Application # 118:  Application submitted by Anthony Buscema for a site plan review to allow for a 13.2 KW Ground mounted solar PV system. The site contains approximately 16.4 acres, and is located within the RF Zoning district. The property is located at 20 Countryman Lane and is identified as New Scotland tax parcel id # 93.-1-11. Special Use Permit Application #610:  Application submitted by NY Capital District Renaissance Festival LLC. To request a Special Use Permit to allow them to hold an event on two parcels owned by Peter Ten Eyck. The parcels are situated within the RA district at 400 Altamont Road, contain 300 +/-acres are identified as New Scotland tax parcels # 71.-2-20.11 and 71.-2-20.12. This application is a Special Use of the Public Assemblage Local Law of the Town of New Scotland.

Hearing will take place on May 7, 2019 at the New Scotland Town Hall beginning at 7:00 P.M.

NOTICE OF TENTATIVE COMPLETION OF ASSESSMENT ROLL

(Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law)

HEARING OF COMPLAINTS

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of New Scotland, County of Albany, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year; the inventory and valuation information will be available at the Assessors’ Office Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. effective May 1, 2019.  A copy of the tentative assessment roll will be filed with the Town Clerk at Town Hall, New Scotland, New York where it may be seen and examined, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by any person interested therein until the first Tuesday of June.  Assessment roll figures will also be available for inspection at the Town Hall on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, May 18, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., as well as on the Town’s website at www.townofnewscotland.com. The Board of Assessment Review will meet at Town Hall, New Scotland, in the said Town, Tuesday June 4, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to hear and examine all verified written complaints in relation to such assessment, on the application of any person believing himself aggrieved thereby.
