Notice of Filing of Tentative Roll 
Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law, the assessor for the Town of Berne has published the 2026 tentative assessment roll. A copy is on file at the Town Clerks office at 1656 Helderberg Trail. The assessor will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll on Friday May 8, 15, and 22 from 1pm-6pm and Saturday May 30 from 10am-2pm at the Town Hall. The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Monday, June 2 from 3-5pm and 6-8pm at the Berne Town Hall located at 1656 Helderberg Trail.

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Rensselaerville, Albany County, New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for 2026 and a copy thereof has been filed with the Town Clerk. The Assessment Roll will be available for viewing at the Town Clerk’s Office during regular business hours or at www.rensselaerville.com by May 1, 2026.
The Assessor will be available at Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY to discuss any concerns prior to Grievance Day on the following days and times:
Saturday May 9, 2026 9:00 am to Noon – by appointment only
Monday May 11, 2026 9:00 am to Noon
Wednesday May 13, 2026 9:00 am to Noon
Wednesday May 13, 2026 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm – by appointment only
The Board of Assessment Review will meet at Town Hall on May 26, 2026 between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm to review any and all written Applications of Complaints by any person believing to be aggrieved. A formal application must be filed and received by our office by 8:00 pm May 26, 2026.  Forms containing instructions and procedures for contesting an assessment are available at Town Hall, or by calling (518) 239-4225, and online at
