Just a reminder that this Saturday, May 1, brings back the return of our highly anticipated Altamont Elementary Parent Teacher Association Village-Wide Garage Sales! From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., come out and support a record year of over 170 sales! Village residents have accumulated two years of goodies to sell!

A gentle reminder to follow the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention of wearing a mask and social distancing! Please do your part so we can continue to have these events in our community.

Please support our local businesses that are providing food and drinks for the day! Hungerford Market, Village Pizza, Curry Patta, The Farmhouse Tap & Tavern, Paisano’s, Altamont Fire Department, and Altamont Veterans of Foreign Wars will all be serving a special menu for garage sale day! 

I would also like to extend a huge thank-you to Jen Hausler who once again has put her heart and soul into organizing this amazing event! This has always been one of our biggest fundraisers of the year and we are excited to bring it back this year! This wouldn’t be possible without Jen’s dedication to our school and community!

Maps of the garage sales and eateries will be available starting on Friday afternoon at Hungerford Market, Stewart’s, Village Pizza, and on the front porch of 103 Fairview Ave.

We all look forward to one of the best days in our community making its return! Thank you for your continued support!
