LEGAL NOTICE
 NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND HEARING OF COMPLAINTS (PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 506 AND 526 OF THE REAL PROPERTY TAX LAW)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessor for the Town of New Scotland, Albany County, New York, has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and a copy thereof has been filed with Lisa Williams, Town Clerk, where it may be seen and examined by any person interested therein until the first Tuesday in June.
The assessor will be available by appointment only to discuss the tentative assessment roll.  Please contact the Assessor, Brad Canning via phone or email to setup an appointment.  Appointments are available on the following dates and times:
Tuesday May 4th 9:00am – 4:30pm
Thursday May 6th 9:00am – 4:30pm
Saturday May 15th 9:00pm – 1:00pm
Tuesday May 18th 4:30pm – 8:00pm    
The Board of Assessment Review will meet from 4:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 1st, in said Town of New Scotland to hear complaints in relation to assessments of real property.  Due to Covid-19, arrangements will be made to accommodate all applicants. 
A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the assessor’s office.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:
A Public Hearing for Special Use Permit # 621
Special Use Permit # 621: Application submitted to request a special use permit to allow for the keeping of goats and chickens on a parcel. The parcel is owned by Ryan Conley, located in the RA zoning district at 34 Old New Salem Road, and is identified as New Scotland Tax Parcel #82.-4-6. Farming Activity, Personal is permitted as a special use per Article II, Section 190-12 (D) (5) of the Town of New Scotland’s Zoning Law.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION
OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL 
(Pursuant to §506 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Rensselaerville, Albany County, New York, has completed the 2021 Tentative Roll and that a copy will be available by May 1, 2021 at www.rensselaerville.com or in the Town Clerk’s Office.
The Grievance Board will meet on May 25, 2021 between the hours of 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm to review any and all written Applications of Complaints by any person believing to be aggrieved. A formal application must be filed and received by our office by 3:30 pm on May 25, 2021.  Forms containing instructions and procedures for contesting an assessment are available on-line at https://www.tax.ny.gov/pdf/publications/orpts/grievancebooklet.pdf. Hard copies may be requested by calling the Town Hall at (518) 239-4225.
If you wish to appear in person, an appointment must be made.
The Assessor will be available to discuss any concerns prior to Grievance Day via phone at (518) 573-7852 from May 17, 2021 through May 22, 2021 between the hours of 10:00 am and 7:00 pm.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Voorheesville will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 6:00pm to discuss planned changes to Village sewer rates and changes to the water regulations.
At this time the meeting will be held at Village Hall, 29 Voorheesville Ave, Voorheesville, NY, check with Village Hall should the meeting be changed to remote.
