Randy Bashwinger is a man with a good heart

To the Editor:

I am writing to show my support of Randy Bashwinger for the Berne-Knox-Westerlo School Board. A vote for Randy is a vote not just for the children, but also for the taxpayers of the district.

In his position as highway superintendent, Randy looks for ways to improve to improve things while trying to save taxpayers’ money.  I foresee him using this talent if he is elected to the school board.

Randy is a husband, a dad, a BKW alum, the Berne highway superintendent, and a member of the rescue squad. And he has served on BKW’s budget advisory committee and is the chairman of the Berne Republican Committee. He has also worked in various positions in the field of construction.

All of these life experiences add up to a well-rounded candidate — someone who has dealt with all kinds of situations and people; someone who has learned to be a good problem solver, in other words, an asset to the school board.

Randy Bashwinger is a man with a good heart, one who truly cares about his family, his friends, and his community. He is a man I am proud to call a friend and support in his endeavor to become a school board member.

A vote for Randy means a better future for the children and the communities of our school district.

May 16 is fast approaching. Please get out and vote. I know I will.
