LEGAL NOTICE
The Village of Altamont, New York is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified firms interested in contracting with the Village to provide building demolition services for the removal and clean-up of a site located at 759 Rt. 146 Altamont, NY 12009. It is the Village’s intent to select a contractor for the site that will, in the Village’s sole determination, provide the best demolition proposal at the least cost to the Village. Please contact the Village to obtain a copy of the RFP, qualification requirements and supporting documents. Prospective bidders shall be advised that the demolition will include asbestos abatement, and all asbestos removal shall be performed by a licensed asbestos contractor. Proof of licensure shall be provided with the contractor’s proposal. Any questions regarding this RFP should be sent by email to .
There will be a pre-bid walkthrough on April 27 th , 2021 at 9:00am EST and bids shall be received by May 6 th , 2021 at 3:00 pm. The deadline for the submission of all questions and inquiries concerning this RFP is Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 12:00 pm noon. Proposals are due on or before the submission deadline noted above at Village Hall, located at 115 Main Street. All proposal packages shall be sealed and have “RFP 2021 Crounse House Demolition Services” clearly marked on the outside for easy identification by the Village.

LEGAL NOTICE
WHEREAS, purstant to General Municipal Law 56-g, the Fort Hunter Fire District, Town of Guilderland, County of Albany, State of New York did establish the “Apparatus Reserve Fund”, a Capital Reserve Fund to finance the cost of acquisition of fire fighting vehicles for the Fort Hunter Fire District. 
WHEREAS, the Art Hunter Fire District has requested bids for the purchase of a new 1500 GPM Pumper and the related post needed to equip and prepare the apparatus for service to the Fort Hunter Fire District 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Fort Hunter Fire District is hereby authorized to expend up to from the Apparatus Reserve Fund an amount not to exceed $875,000.00 for the purchase a new 1500 GPM Pumpet, and 
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution and this expenditure is subject to a permissive referendum

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, pursuant to Article 7 of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York, that the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Altamont will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month in the Community Room at Village Hall, 115 Main Street, Altamont, NY.  July 6, 2021 meeting rescheduled to July 20, 2021; August 3, 2021 meeting, if needed; November 2, 2021 meeting rescheduled to November 3, 2021.  
The Board of Trustees will also meet on the third Tuesday of each month, as needed. In the event of a cancellation of any meeting, a notice to that effect will be posted in the Village Hall and the Village Website.
