The Berne Conservation Club and The Guan Ho Ha Fish and Game Club competed in a trap-shooting contest on April 12 at the Guan Ho Ha property on Rector Road in Scotia. With team totals of 222 to 200, the Berne Conservation Club won.

With 13 shooters, the top five scores by the Berne Conservation Club are:

— Gary Schliecht (23/24) 47;

— Tom Kergel (22/23) 45;

— Tom Suttar (22/22) 44;

— Bob Rappleya (21/22) 43; and

— Chester Lee (22/21) 43.

With 15 shooters, the top five scores by the Guan Ho Ha Club are:

— Tony Vendetti (22/23) 45;

— Eric Milewski (18/21) 39;

— Ray Gawlos (22/17) 39;

— Mark Ecker (22/17) 39; and

— Leno Dodeno (21/17) 38.
