Therese Rita Dansereau

LOUDONVILLE — Therese Rita Dansereau was “a multi-tasking dynamo,” her family wrote, who showed by example how to be kind and give to others.

She died peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2023. She was 91.

The daughter of the late Alexandrine and Joseph Blanchard, she grew up in Claremont, New Hampshire.

“She attended the Elliott School of Nursing in Manchester, New Hampshire,” her family wrote in a tribute, “and greatly enjoyed being a registered nurse.

“On June 27, 1953 she married the love of her life, Raymond, and they worked as a team to raise six children.

“The family lived in Guilderland, where Therese was an active volunteer at Christ the King Church and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed church events, and spending time with her circle of friends.

“Therese’s life was centered around her family. She was a multi-tasking dynamo with incredible organizational skills.

“Therese enjoyed her children’s school events, and put a lot of miles on that station wagon driving kids around. She liked to visit with people in the backyard on a nice day, and enjoyed watching the birds at the feeder.

“Therese liked to sew and was talented with crafts. Throughout her life, she showed by example how to be kind and give to others.”
