We will continue to honor our Hometown Heroes with pride
To the Editor:
I am writing to Knox residents.
In this time of uncertainty, due to the coronavirus, there is one thing we can say for certain: We will continue to honor our Hometown Heroes with pride! The Town of Knox Hometown Hero Committee will be accepting applications for this year’s Hometown Hero Banner program through May 8, 2020.
We are currently unsure of what the cost will be, due to the print shop being shut down. We would like to offer the banners to families at the same cost as last year, $135.00, with the understanding that, if the printer raises the price, there would be a balance due at the time of printing. We remain hopeful that the printer will reopen in time to complete this year’s banners.
Please go to our website — www.knoxny.org — and print out the application for your hero. All applications can be returned to the town clerk via email at , by fax at 518-486-8558, or by postal mail to Post Office Box 116, Knox, New York 12107. Please be sure to include a photo of your hero.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to call the town clerk at 518-872-2551 or send an email to .
With thanks and appreciation.
