Stuyvesant Plaza to buy $10K in restaurant gift cards for health-care workers

GUILDERLAND — Stuyvesant Plaza will purchase $10,000 in gift cards from its restaurants to donate to local health-care workers who are helping COVID-19 patients.

The gift cards, purchased from the restaurants continuing to offer take-out and delivery at Stuyvesant Plaza, will be donated to employees at Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Hospital.

The gift cards donated to Albany Medical Center and St. Peter’s Hospital were purchased in equal allotments from Bare Juice Bar, Blaze Pizza, Bountiful Bread, Bruegger’s, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Cold Stone Creamery, Jacob and Anthony’s Italian, Primal Your Local Butcher and TGI Friday’s.
