Chamber seeks nominations for awards

GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce annually honors local businesses and volunteers who show exemplary qualities in five categories. Nominees for this year’s awards need to be submitted to the chamber by April 19.

The awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner on June 5 at the Fox Run Grill at Western Turnpike Golf Course.

Awards will be made in these categories:

— Best Place to Work;

— Small Business Person of the Year Award;

— The Chamber Champion Award;

— The Award of Merit, recognizing community service; and

— Emerging Professional Award, for a chamber member with a professional designation and fewer than 10 years in the business.

  • GUILDERLAND — The Lynnwood Reformed Church is celebrating its 70th anniversary this Sunday.
