Dean's List and Achievements

These local students were named to the dean’s list from their college or university for the Fall 2020 semester:

— Grace Fitzgerald of Delmar, majoring in media arts production at Emerson College in Massachusetts with a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester;

— Peter Namkoong of Slingerlands, majoring in media arts production at Emerson College in Massachusetts with a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester;

— Caitlin Gagan of Slingerlands, a graduate of Guilderland High School, and is majoring in mathematical economics at Colgate University, with a grade point average of 3.3 or higher;

— Lauren Horstmyer of Schenectady, a graduate of Guilderland High School, and is majoring in natural sciences at Colgate University, with a grade point average of 3.3 or higher;

— Luke Durivage of Voorheesville, a graduate of Clayton A Bouton Jr-Sr HS, and is majoring in economics at Colgate University, with grade point average of 3.6 or higher;

— Erica Friedman of Delmar, a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, and is majoring in psychological science at Colgate University, with grade point average of 3.6 or higher; and

— William Vagianelis of Slingerlands, a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, and is majoring in economics at Colgate University, with grade point average of 3.6 or higher. 
 

These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Olivia Richardson, of Voorheesville, majoring in psychology at Western New England University College of Arts & Sciences was among over 80 students inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta; and

— Francesca Dicarlo of Guilderland, majoring in economics in State University of New York Oneonta recently recognized to have attained leadership milestones through the college's LEAD (Leadership Education and Development) program, earned a Silver Level.
