Breast surgeon Choi joins AMC

Lynn Y. Choi, M.D., a breast surgeon who is also fellowship trained in surgical critical care, has joined Albany Medical Center’s Department of Surgery.

Choi recently completed an advanced breast-training fellowship and performs a full range of breast surgeries, including mastectomy, lumpectomy, and lymph-node surgery.

In addition, Choi is a board-certified general surgeon, and performs gall-bladder surgeries, hernia repairs, appendectomies, port placements, and other procedures.

She received her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a residency in general surgery, followed by fellowships in advanced breast training and surgical critical care, at Albany Medical Center.

Choi is now seeing patients on Albany Med’s South Clinical Campus at 25 Hackett Blvd. in Albany.
