A Public Hearing will be held at Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road Slingerlands, New York 12159, at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, regarding NRI and Open Space Plan Advisory Committee draft of Open Space Plan.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a workshop held by the Town of New Scotland Natural Resources Inventory and Open Space Plan Advisory Committee on February 26, 6:30 PM at the Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY 12159 to hear public
comments on the draft Open Space and Natural Resources Protection Plan. This 2025 Plan is proposed to be adopted as an addenda to the 2018 Town of New Scotland Comprehensive Plan.
The draft plan is available for review on the Town Website at https://www.townofnewscotland.com. It is also available for inspection in person at the Town of New Scotland offices at 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands. Written comments shall be accepted through March 7, 5:00 PM at 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY 12159, or emailed to
or dropped off at Town Hall during Town Clerk hours.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Rensselaerville will hold a Public Hearing on February 25, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY to review an Area Variance for Ashley Schoenborn, 210 County Route 351, Medusa, NY 12120 (Tax Map 173.-2-20). The applicant is seeking 2’ of relief from the required 15’ setback requirement for a pre-existing shed.
All those interested in this proposal will be provided with the full opportunity to be heard on the date of the Public Hearing. Persons wishing to appear at such hearing may do so in person or by attorney or other representative.
Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Planning Board or at such hearing.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS - FIRE APPARATUS (ADVERTISEMENT)
Sealed bids for the purchase by the Berne Fire District of a new tanker incorporating other miscellaneous equipment will be received by the Secretary of the Fire District, 30 Canaday Hill Road, (PO Box 41) Berne, New York, 12023, until March 14, 2025, at which time bids for the vehicle will be publicly read aloud.
Specifications for this apparatus and equipment may be obtained by interested suppliers, free of charge, by contacting the Secretary at

A bid bond or certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the amount bid must accompany bids submitted.
The Berne Fire District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid best suited for its specific needs.
Bidders are advised that the purchase of the tanker is subject to voter approval.
Bids will be binding for 60 days subsequent to bid opening.
Bidding shall be in accordance with the instructions to bidders.
