TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Rensselaerville on March 23, 2023 at 6:45p.m. at Rensselaerville Town Hall, located at 87 Barger Road, Medusa, New York 12120, for the purpose of considering the adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2023. If adopted, the Local Law would permit the Town to grant a partial tax exemption on real property owned by an enrolled member of an incorporated volunteer fire company, fire department or incorporated voluntary ambulance service or such enrolled member and spouse.
Written comments can be submitted to the Town Clerk up and through the time of the public hearing. A copy of the proposed Local Law can be obtained at the Rensselaerville Town Hall and on the Town’s website.

    THE OBJECT of the above caption action is to foreclose a Mortgage to secure the sum of $246,000.00 and interest, recorded on August 20, 2007, in Liber 5534 at Page 37, of the Public Records of ALBANY County, New York., covering premises known as 24 CANTON STREET, SCHENECTADY, NY 12304.
    The relief sought in the within action is a final judgment directing the sale of the premises described above to satisfy the debt secured by the Mortgage described above.
    ALBANY County is designated as the place of trial because the real property affected by this action is located in said county.

If you do not respond to this summons and complaint by serving a copy of the answer on the attorney for the mortgage company who filed this foreclosure proceeding against you and filing the answer with the court, a default judgment may be entered and you can lose your home.

Sending a payment to the mortgage company will not stop the foreclosure action.
