Voorheesville to hold active-threat drill

NEW SCOTLAND — In preparation for an active-threat drill that will be held at the Clayton A. Bouton High School and Voorheesville Middle School shared campus on March 24, the district will hold a planning meeting on Thursday, March 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Local police will meet with school administrators and tour the campus during this time.

“We are informing our school community of this meeting so that no one will be alarmed if they see law-enforcement vehicles in our parking lot and law enforcement personnel on our campus,” the district said in a written statement.
