Donate to the Berne library sale

To the Editor:

Shelves and bookcases overflowing? If so, clear out those bookcases, media shelves, jewelry boxes, and game cupboards and donate your unwanted items to the Friends of the Berne Library for our sale. You can drop off items at the Berne Community/Senior Center at 1360 Helderberg Trail in Berne on Saturday, March 17, from 9 to noon.

Then return Saturday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and find new-to-you items to replenish your shelves at bargain prices. We will have a wide assortment of books for adults, young adults, and children, and all genres of fiction, including mystery, romance, fantasy, historical fiction, all organized for browsing.

Media will include DVDs, audio books, and music CDs. You will find jewelry just right for your spring wardrobe. Puzzles and games will also be available.

All proceeds benefit the Berne Public Library.  Hope to see you on Drop-off Day and at the sale!

Donna Gwin, president
