Litten and Sullivan will balance decisions

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Simon Litten and James Sullivan for trustee positions in the upcoming March 19 village election, which I hope has a full turnout of village voters.

Altamont, situated near the beautiful Helderberg escarpment, is an amazing setting for a village and the natural beauty inspires all of us. Leaders of the community have been given the honor of stewardship of this village that was built with great intelligence and care.

As we move into future concerns and changes, it is important that the leaders balance decisions and celebrate what has drawn people to live in Altamont over the years. Simon and James will implement a communication service via email to keep villagers up to date on current matters and agendas, giving the community the opportunity to participate.

Simon’s history of working in the state’s Department of Environmental Conservation and James’s history of working in education and public service will be very valuable in making wise decisions.
