Deep potholes dangerous, unaddressed

To the Editor:

I have reached out to the management of Crossgates Mall and the Pyramid Group concerning the interconnecting road between Crossgates Mall and Crossgates Commons, underneath the Washington Avenue overpass.

This is a reference to the condition of that area with the extreme potholes. It is a safety hazard and dangerous for vehicles in that area due to the depth of some of the potholes.

To date, I have not heard back from anyone concerning this. I did verify with the Guilderland and Albany highway departments and they all state that it is Crossgates/Pyramids’ roadway.

Editor’s note: The specific area referred to by Craig Bousquet, the underpass of the interconnecting road between Crossgates and Crossgates Commons, is owned by New York state, according to GIS mapping; Pyramid is shown as owning the road on the Albany side of the underpass.
