Carey Institute hosts hiring fair

RENSSELAERVILLE — The Carey Institute will host a hiring fair at its campus located at 63 Huyck Road in Rensselaerville on Saturday, March 28, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Those who attend can be interviewed by a hiring manager at the event. Seasonal positions are open for guest services, housekeeping, maintenance and grounds, prep cooks, as well as servers and bartenders. Above minimum wage is offered for all positions, according to a release from the institute.

The Carey Institute is a local not-for-profit located on a 100-acre campus in Rensselaerville with four residence halls, an on-site gourmet restaurant, and the Helderberg Brewery. The staff serve a wide range of clients and events from corporate retreats to destination wedding weekends.

“Staff are energetic, caring and connected to the institute’s mission which is to create a better world by contributing to a strong, educated and just society through its programs in nonfiction, education and sustainable communities,” the release says.
