Elliott House Thrift Shop opens March 14

The Elliott House Thrift Shop will open for the 2018 season on Wednesday, March 14, weather permitting; it will close if the weather is inclement.

The shop is located on Route 81 in Norton Hill at the former Powell Store, next to the United Methodist Church. The hours at the Thrift Shop are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

Donations will be accepted in the back of the store on Route 81 after Feb. 14. Items should be clean and in working condition. The shop cannot accept large items, as it does not have space to accommodate them. Televisions, microwaves, computers, and monitors are not accepted.

The Thrift Shop offers clothing and small decorative household items at a very reasonable prices.  Volunteers run the shop and all proceeds benefit the programs of the United Methodist Church of Greenville and Norton Hill.
