Brain-injury training offers nationally recognized credential

The Brain Injury Association of New York State will host Certified Brain Injury Specialist training at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs on June 12 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This class is offered in accordance with the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists to strengthen the network of dedicated, competent brain injury specialists across New York State.

Professionals working in the field of brain injury that have 500 hours of currently verifiable direct contact experience with an individual or individuals with brain injuries are invited to apply. The class is designed to help review material for the nationally recognized certification examination.

Starting six weeks prior to the class, enrollees will have access to weekly webinars and receive study tips and detailed home study information that corresponds with the chapters in the Essential Brain Injury Study Guide.
