Switzkill Farm Winterfest is fun for the family

To the Editor:

Stop! Mark Feb. 16, from 11a.m. to 3 p.m., on your calendar. It’s the day to have a great time at the Switzkill Farm Winterfest — a day of fun and games for the entire family.

Featured will be crafts for kids, hot chili and cocoa, and, of course, s’mores, warm fires, and guided tours throughout the day. Kelly Martin, our local wildlife rehabilitator, will be there with her birds of prey and other animals.

Bring your sleds, snowshoes, skates, and skis. Take to the trails with a group or on your own. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the northern Catskills and the beauty of the farm landscape, then warm up next to the fire with a hot cup of cocoa.  

Winterfest will go on regardless of the snow cover. Check out our facebook page to see what other events are scheduled to take place at the Farm.
