Are you interested in public service?

To the Editor:

If you are a registered Republican and have an interest in public service, we would like to hear from you. The Guilderland Republican Party is currently accepting applications for those seeking the Republican line in the town of Guilderland.

The state legislature recently passed new legislation to combine local and federal primaries, which gives a different timeline for our local office-holders and candidates to file the proper paperwork to become candidates.

The party will be meeting in the coming weeks and conducting interviews for town-wide and county legislature positions. Town-wide, we are interviewing for town supervisor, two town board seats, highway superintendent, receiver of taxes, and clerk. On the county level, we are interviewing for all county legislative seats.

If you have an interest in any of these positions, please email us at . We will be conducting interviews for all those seeking the Republican line.

If you are not interested in running for office but would like to get involved in helping our candidates get elected, we would love to hear from you as well.

We look forward to hearing from all interested individuals.

Douglas Breakell

Republican Chairman
