Thanks for honoring buried heroes

To the Editor:
I would like to send a special thanks to Mary Jane Araldi and the other volunteers who participated in placing wreaths at the Hannacroix Rural Cemetery in Dormansville for our American heroes in December 2020 and 2021. This includes the Wreaths Across America Organization, the Westerlo Heritage Museum, and the New York Patriot Guard.

If anyone would like to send a donation for a wreath — $15 covers the cost of one wreath — donations can be sent to the Westerlo Heritage Museum with a note designating it is for Wreaths Across America. Send it to: Town of Westerlo, 933 County Route 401, Westerlo, NY 12193.

Or you may also go to the Wreaths Across America website: wreathsacrossamerica.com and click on “sponsor a specific cemetery,” type in Hannacroix, and the cemetery will pop up.
