ACT calls for grant applicants

To the Editor:

The board and friends of Altamont Community Tradition are pleased to announce our 2020 call for Community Grant Applications.

Funded by revenues raised during the Victorian Holiday and other generous donations, these small grants (up to $500) are donated to projects by local not-for-profit organizations that align with ACT’s mission of historic preservation and strengthening the village community through engaging activities.

The deadline for applications is March 1. Successful applicants will be notified by April 15.

In the past, ACT has supported the Altamont Archives, Museum in the Streets, and historic renovations to the Masonic Hall. In 2019, ACT donated to the Altamont Free Library, the Altamont Fair history project, and the Reformed Church community dinner.

The Community Grant Application and guidelines are available online at altamontcommunitytradition.org/community-grant-program.
