Vaccination was a breeze
To the Editor:
I just wanted to let people know what a breeze it was to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
My husband and I traveled to Utica, a pleasant ride. When we got to our destination, everything was super-organized with many people escorting us from destination to destination.
As for the shot, I had trepidations because I saw people get stabbed with needles on TV and I was afraid of pain.
Let me tell everyone that I didn’t feel a thing! I did look away but the “ordeal” was over before you could say “abc.” We stayed 15 minutes longer to make sure we didn’t have any adverse reaction, and then went home.
The next morning, we had a dull ache at the point of injection, which disappeared overnight. We look forward to our next shot.
I encourage everyone to get the vaccine. Don’t be afraid. We all need to conquer COVID!
