WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
Work shall include but is not limited to:
Contract #1 - Guilderland - Rotterdam Booster Station General Construction
This work consists of the new construction of the Guilderland-Rotterdam intermunicipal potable water booster station, including a piping, pumping equipment, controls, building, yard piping, site work, and all other appurtenances.
Contract #2 - Guilderland - Rotterdam Booster Station Electrical Construction
This work consists of the electrical work associated with new construction of the Guilderland - Rotterdam intermunicipal potable water booster station. This includes but is not limited to providing power and control wire and conduit to the various equipment, new generator, and other building and site lighting and all other appurtenances. This Contract also includes the electrical work and all appurtenances associated with the installation of the tank mixing system for the Fort Hunter Tank.
Contract #3 - Guilderland - Rotterdam Booster Station HVAC Construction
This work consists of the HVAC associated with new construction of the Guilderland - Rotterdam intermunicipal potable water booster station. This includes but is not limited to providing new HVAC components to the new booster station building and all other appurtenances.
Contract #4 - Guilderland Fort Hunter Tank Rehabilitation
This work consists of the cleaning and painting of the approximately 100’ high by 80’ diameter potable water storage tank and all other appurtenances. This Contract also includes the furnishing and installation of the tank mixing system and all other appurtenances.
A Pre-Bid conference will be held on February 6, 2019 1:00 PM at the Town of Guilderland, Town Hall, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, New York 12084. Bidding contractors are strongly encouraged to have an authorized represetative of their firm present at this meeting.

Checks or money orders shall be made payable to Town of Guilderland. Cash deposits will not be accepted. Any Bidder who submitted completed Bid Forms to the Town fo Guilderland, upon returning such set in good condition within thirty days following the award of the contract or rejection of the bids, will be refunded their full payment. Deposits will not be refunded to any non-bidder (including material suppliers, subcontractors, or those that provide quotes to Bidders). The Village of Altamont wishes to inform residents of a telecommunications tower visual evaluation.
To assess the visibility of a 120-foot wireless telecommunications facility proposed by Enterprise Consulting Services, LLC (“Applicant”) at the Village of Altamont Water Tank property located at 23 Agawam Lane in the Village (“Site”), the Applicant will be conducting a “balloon float” at the Site on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 9 am to 4 pm, with an alternate date in the event of inclement weather of either Wednesday, January 16, or Thursday, January 17, from 9 am to 4 pm. The balloon float may be completed earlier than 4 pm if weather becomes inclement so interested parties are encouraged to view the balloon float during morning hours. The balloon float will consist of flying a red weather balloon approximately 3 feet in diameter attached to non-stretchable line at 120+/- feet above ground level. Project Description:
The applicant has applied for a renewal of their sanitary wastewater discharge permit for a single family residence. The treatment system, which discharges to a tributary of Fox Creek, consists of an intermittent sand filter with a design flow of 1,025 gallons per day.
The Department has made a tentative determination to issue a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law for this project. This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute will satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time. As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance. As such, this tentative determination does not signify Department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project. A draft permit is available for inspection and comment at the Region 4 office.

Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
