To the Editor:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Altamont Enterprise for focusing on the great work Community Caregivers does for our community and beyond.

I am humbled by the paper’s in-depth story last week that featured myself as the new executive director for Community Caregivers. Being tasked with helping this not-for-profit move forward is an honor.

But I want to be sure to highlight not just the dedicated staff who keep the gears turning, but also our committed volunteers, who give of themselves to help those residents in need.

We are always looking for new volunteers and I urge you to contact our offices or attend one of our nearby volunteer orientations. We truly are “neighbors helping neighbors.”
