The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Happy New Year” luncheon on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) in beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Important: If you are planning on attending the luncheon, please wear your mask and bring with you your proof-of-vaccination card — required by the Elks Lodge.

Your reservation is necessary no later than Jan. 6 and you must let us know ahead if you cancel. Please call Nancy at 518-320-2649 for reservations.

On the menu this month is chicken marsala with white rice with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Our speaker this month is Carol Weiman from Auburn who will speak on “Miracles.” As for our feature, Debra Verni, managing principal at the Herzog Law Firm, will speak on estate planning, discussing wills versus trusts. Our music will be provided by Peg Hart and Arlene Ableman who will, as always, entertain us.
