GUILDERLAND —A Schenectady woman was charged with drunk driving on Christmas Eve after a traffic stop on Route 20.

Natalie L. Schramm, 25, was stopped at about 6:39 p.m on Dec. 24, according to a release from State Police, and charged with driving while intoxicated and other Vehicle and traffic law violations.

She was taken to the police station in New Scotland where she recorded a blood-alcohol content reading of 0.29 percent, the release said. The legal limit for driving a noncommercial vehicle in New York state is 0.08 percent.

Schramm was issued tickets returnable to the Guilderland Town Court on Jan. 15, 2026, and released to a sober third party.
