Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:

A Public Hearing for Special Use Permit   # 611

Special Use Permit Application # 611: Application submitted Eric Stern & Cecilia Stern-Frisenfelds for a Special Use Permit to allow for a parcel she owns to be used for “Farming Activity, Personal”. The parcel is located within the MDR district at 640 Krumkill Road, contains approx. 2.8 acres, and is identified as New Scotland tax parcel # 63.-4-11.13. The request is to allow for a coop with up to ten chickens to be allowed on site. This application is a Special Use Application of Article II, Section 190-13 (D)(17) of the Town of New Scotland Zoning Law.

Hearing will take place on January 7, 2020 at the New Scotland Town Hall beginning at 7:00 P.M.

NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL & WARRANT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that I, the undersigned Town Clerk and Tax Collector of the Town of Rensselaerville, Albany County, State of New York, have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Rensselaerville for the year 2020 and that I will receive taxes as follows at the Rensselaerville Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY 12120:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (9am – 3:30pm); Thursday (9am – 6pm); Friday (9am – Noon); and the following Saturdays: January 25th; February 29th and March 28th (9am – Noon). 

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid before February 1, 2020 without penalty.  Taxes paid from February 1, 2020 through February 29, 2020 will be assessed a 1% penalty. A 2% penalty will be assessed for payments made during the month of March.  The last day to pay taxes at this office will be March 28, 2020.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that pursuant to the provisions of law, the tax roll of the Town of Rensselaerville will be turned over to the Albany County Department of Finance on April 1, 2020.  Thereafter, the penalty will be 5% plus interest.

TAKE NOTICE that I, the undersigned, Town Clerk and Tax Collector of the Town of Westerlo, County of Albany, State of New York have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Westerlo for the year 2020 and that I will receive taxes as follows:

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that taxes may be paid before February 1, 2019 without charge of interest.  On taxes remaining unpaid after January 31, there will be added one percent (1%) interest for the month of February and two percent (2%) interest added for the month of March.  The last possible date to pay at the Tax Collector’s office is Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of law the tax roll of the Town of Westerlo will be returned to the Albany County Treasurer after the 1st day of April, 2020.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board for the Town of Rensselaerville will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY on an application for a Special Use Permit proposed by Troy & Leslie Hallenbeck. TAKE NOTICE, that I, Diane Deschenes, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of New Scotland, County of Albany and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of New Scotland for the year 2020, and that I will collect at 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY, in said Town of New Scotland from 8:30 A.M. to 4 P.M. each day except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays for the purpose of receiving taxes on the said roll.
