Join the effort to help the less fortunate

To the Editor:

We are very busy working on our Thanksgiving and Christmas programs. We are still in need of donations for Thanksgiving dinner for our families.

Donations of food or monetary donations are always appreciated.

Also, we are still recruiting sponsors for our Adopt a Family program for Christmas and we can’t forget our seniors during the holidays either.

Anyone wishing to join in the effort to help those less fortunate can call the office at 797-5256. For monetary donations, make the check out to HCRC, Post Office Box 147, Westerlo, NY 12193.

Volunteers are always appreciated.  We are so fortunate for all our donors that support us throughout the year. We are thankful for everyone of you.

HEAP [Home Energy Assistance Program] will be here on Nov. 26 from 2 to 4 p.m. Anyone needing to apply can come over to the Westerlo Reformed Church at 566 State Route 143, Westerlo, NY 12193.
