Don’t complain, get involved

To the Editor:

This is for everybody in New York State, but mostly for people in the Hilltowns above Albany.

I vote but am lax on town board meetings and school board meeting that impact my life and ours. We can sit back and let others dictate to us or we can get involved.

I, myself, am going to get involved again. I don not like the way things are going but it’s my own fault.

So, if you are going to sit back and let other people run your life, that is up to you. If you don’t vote, you don’t have a thing to say about it. On taxes, the way a village or town is run, don’t complain; you put them there.
