Buy a bargain to back the Berne library

To the Editor:

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Berne Senior Center is overflowing with donated books, DVDs, music CDs, puzzles, audio books, and VHS tapes, all for sale at the Friends of the Berne Library Book Sale.

We have a wide assortment of non-fiction books and all genres of fiction, such as mystery, romance, fantasy, science fiction, and historical fiction.  Books for young children through young adult are also available.

In addition, we are repeating our very popular jewelry sale and we have a new feature: next-to-new fashion scarves for sale.

All items are bargain-priced.  The sale takes place Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 2p.m at the Berne Senior Center, 1360 Helderberg Trail.  All proceeds benefit the Berne Public Library.

We appreciate the support of the community.  Hope to see you at the sale!
