Ev's honesty helps us better understand our own relationships

To the Editor:

"Stand Tall Against The Odds" by Everett Rau is a wonderful true story of a Christian family as it grows and meet the trials and also joys of life.

The many successes in Ev and Peg's life are often offset with disappointments and failure. Always the strong faith in God and the power of Jesus is apparent giving the reader a good feeling that doing right is the best way.

Ev's honesty in telling a true story helps us all to better understand our own relationships in our own families.

This is a truly must read book by one of our own St. John's members.
