Eat well, see friends, and raise funds for veterans

To the Editor:

The Boyd Hilton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Altamont will be hosting its semi-annual Chicken ’n’ Biscuit Dinner on April 11, at the post at 11 Mill Street. Dinner will be served from 4 till 7 p.m.  The donation for the dinner will be $10 per person.

The dinner will include chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, cranberries, coffee, tea, and a large variety of pies for dessert.

After a hard day of outside spring chores, why not bring mom down for a great meal? She won't have to cook and you won't have to do the dishes.

And you will be helping us raise funds to continue helping our veterans.  It's is a win-win situation.  Bring your friends and family, visit with old friends, and make new ones.

Dinner is eat-in or take-outs will be available.

You may purchase tickets from our members or at the VFW between the hours of 2 and 7 p.m.

Please call 861-8323 or 470-7310 if you have any questions.
