The Enterprise — Michael Koff

Meet the FMS press: Congressman Paul Tonko, center, is questioned by Farnsworth Middle School students Monday on topics ranging from Obamacare to a possible government shutdown.  Although the three seventh-graders — from left, Morgan Dillon, Cole Campbell, and Dawson Aitkin — said beforehand that they were nervous, once the camera was rolling, they looked cool. The students are working on documentaries for the annual C-SPAN StudentCam competition, which encourages students to think critically about local and national issues. This year’s theme is “The Three Branches and You.” The students are taught by Matt Duesler and Heather Tagliferro.
