Trimmed ahead of Christmas, these evergreens in Guilderland looked ready for the holidays as about 10 inches of snow fell the day before Thanksgiving. A week later, most of the snow had melted.

Trying to stay ahead of the falling snow last Wednesday, a company plow clears the lot at 1881 Western Ave. in Guilderland. Ten inches of wet, heavy snow fell in Albany County downing wires causing about 10,000 National Grid customers to lose power.
